Theory nominated in the 2011 New York Festivals ‘World’s Best TV Programs and Films’ 07 February 2011

We’re extremely excited to announce that we’ve been nominated in the 2011 New York Festivals ‘World’s Best TV Programs and Films’ awards for our recent brand film produced for the London Metal Exchange.

The New York Festivals World's Best Television & Films™ recognize the "World's Best Work™" in news, sports, documentary, information and entertainment program as well as in music videos, infomercials, promotion spots, openings and ID's. Now entering its 54th year, the NYF™ Television & Film Awards is one of the most well known and widely respected competitions on the globe.

Director Tom Jenkins adds “This is an exciting time for The Theory. Being nominated is thrilling and proves we’re achieving the high standard of work we set out to create here. As The Theory is only approaching our 2nd birthday it’s exciting to see some of our first projects being recognised.”

The London Metal Exchange brand film ‘From Mine to Market’ is an 11 minute film that showcases the LME as a leader in its class. Filmed in London, South Korea, Rotterdam and Hamburg, we used cutting edge filming techniques to capture the essence of the LME as a forward facing and innovative exchange.

Stephen White, Business Manager Corporate Affairs at London Metal Exchange says “The London Metal Exchange’s corporate video is a critical tool used for educating people throughout the supply chain on the role of the LME in international commodity markets. With a relentless focus on quality, creativity and detail, Tom and The Theory team took a tired, out-of-date product and helped us create something really special - a film that reflects our growing international user base and the modernisation of our brand. Great job!”
